The following instructions are to show you step-by-step how to install the template we have created for you into InkFrog listing software.

Installing your Template

  1. Login to InkFrog
  2. Using the links at the top of the page click Designs then Custom Templates on the left to show any current custom templates you have
  3. Click Create New Custom Template from the drop-down box just above the main area (a pop box will appear)
  4. Give your template a Template Name
  5. Open the file we sent called inkfrog-listing-template.txt
  6. Copy all of the content of the file
  7. Paste all contents into the Template tab
  8. If you want you can then Preview to view the design
  9. Click Save Template (bottom right)

Important: Although we have set the basic Inkfrog tags in the template, if you have any other boxes below the description for things like customer information, payments, returns etc. then you will want to edit these areas and then edit the template you just created afterwards.  To edit the other text boxes on the template the best way is to begin a new item directly on eBay using our standard instructions, change your text in the boxes and then copy the HTML code after the changes to update your template (see our standard listing instructions for details on this).  The template is now installed behind the scenes and each time you list an item using Inkfrog select this new custom template during the listing process.

Tip: Although we have added the basic inkfrog tags for description, main image and title, there are more options available to you if you want to investigate these and have a play around with their template system (they offer help links within the custom template area that gives you more details of the options available).

Important: Once you have created your first listing with the custom template, take a look on it on eBay and make sure it all looks perfect before listing more items. You can send the item number to us to check it for you as well, if you wish.
